The commercial real estate community is increasingly diverse and inclusive – and it’s about time. The CREi Movement leadership team firmly believes in the value of diverse viewpoints in every business context. We are especially thrilled to share our second annual CREi Movement List of Influential Women – Congratulations! These women are leaders who inspire. A note about this list: The influencers listed were selected by a team from CREi Movement led by Barbi Reuter based on their social and industry influence. In the absence of a formal submission with data on social presence, we opted to order the list alphabetically by last name.

  • Melissa Alexander

    Melissa is an industrial real estate professional with over 15 years of real estate experience with a focus on client representation. In 2014, she became the only female partner at Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Advisors in Memphis, TN. Melissa is a multi-award winner in the industry, having won the 2020 Woman of Influence by GlobeSt Real Estate Gorum, 2016 Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, and placed #3 on the CREi top 150 influencers in Commercial Real Estate list.

  • Aileen Almassy

    As a 21-year veteran in commercial real estate, Aileen Almassy has extensive experience in the leasing and management of Class A Office properties. Aileen has always been focused on landlord representation, and in her current role as Leasing Director she is responsible for leading Cushman & Wakefield Atlanta’s agency leasing practice and for the marketing and leasing of several office buildings throughout the metro area.

    Aileen was recently promoted to Vice Chair and is the first female to attain this title in Atlanta C&W history.

    She utilizes her market knowledge and leverages her strong relationships with the business community, economic development groups, and area tenant brokers to best position her properties to maximize return on investment for her clients.

    Aileen joined Cushman & Wakefield in February of 2007. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, she was a Leasing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she successfully leased and marketed several buildings in the Midtown, Buckhead and Central Perimeter submarkets.

    She began her career with Equity Office Properties in Atlanta, where she built her career and flourished for more than ten years. Aileen has a wide breadth of experience in staff, asset, accounting, and construction management.

    Beth is the founder and owner of Azor Advisory Services (AAS), a leading commercial real estate advisory and investment firm based in Southeast Florida. As its principal, Beth currently owns and manages five shopping centers in Florida and travels the country consulting with, brokering deals for and training associates in the commercial real estate industry. A partial list of Beth’s clients includes Phillips Edison & Co., Brixmor Properties, The Shopping Center Group, Urban Edge Development and DLC Management Group. She also has over thirty years of experience in managing, developing, redeveloping and teaching commercial real estate leasing agents all over the country.

  • Roslyn Bazzelle

  • DeLea Becker

    DeLea is Founder & Broker for Beck-Reit Commercial Real Estate & Beck-Reit Asset Management. In addition, DeLea owns Beck-Reit & Sons, Ltd. – a company that has successfully been in business for 23 years.   • Alison Beddard

    Based in Seattle, Alison oversees the strategic growth of the firm’s business lines in the Seattle and Bellevue regions. She was involved in many high-profile transactions in Salt Lake City including the largest healthcare BTS transaction in the state for the University of Utah in 2017 and the American Express 100,000 RSF BTS relocation. She was recognized as one of “Thirty Women to Watch” by Utah Business Magazine, as well as a 2017 “Women of Influence” Honoree by Real Estate Forum Magazine.   • Corina Irvin

    Corina P. Irvin launched Peninsula CRE Group in 2019.

    She specializes in helping tenants find the perfect space that aligns with their unique branding, operational, and financial needs.

    Prior to starting Peninsula CRE Group, Corina was a director in the Los Angeles office of Cushman & Wakefield and she also spent several years with C&W in New York City.

  • Anne Klein

    Anne is a 33-year veteran and a 12-time National Top Office Producer, of the commercial real estate industry. In addition to representing tenants in the U.S. and throughout the world, she has extensive experience representing local and institutional owners to market their properties, increasing the value through successful leasing and sales.   • Courtney Saksefski

    As Principal and Chief Marketing Officer, Courtney crafts and coach’s innovative campaigns for commercial real estate assets, agents, and the LandQwest brand across Florida.

    For 17 years, she has marketed retail, office, industrial, land, and special-use assets. Today, she mentors agents and marketers to adopt an owner, tenant, or investor mindset and apply ever-expanding “speed-to-market” CRE technologies that have resulted in large savings in commercial real estate transactions.

  • Kenisha Robnett, CCIM, MRED

    Kenisha Robnett, CCIM has been a commercial real estate practitioner since 2006. She spent the majority of her career in brokerage as a Tenant Rep, but also has experience in mixed-used portfolio management, Landlord Rep and Corporate Real Estate. At one point in her career, she joined the real estate division for Walmart headquarters, which is still the #1 Fortune 100 company in the world.   • Rebecca Rockey

    In her role, Rebecca studies how economies, demographics, financial markets and commercial real estate interact—both at the macro and micro level. In her new global role, she will extend this expertise to other regions. In a previous role as junior economist at the Congressional Budget Office in the Financial Analysis Division (FAD), she was particularly focused on fair value estimation of federal direct lending and guarantee credit programs and contributed to FAD’s first comprehensive estimate—across more than 100 credit programs with a portfolio value of $3.1 trillion—for the Congress. Rebecca was part of the forecast team that won the National Association of Business Economists Outlook Award in 2014.
