Most CRE professionals listen to podcasts, so it is our hope that having one “source of truth” will add value to you and our entire community.

The list was compiled by two leading experts in the CRE podcast field: Lonnie Hendy of TREPP and Johnny Peterson of Straight Up Podcasts.

The 2024 list is comprised of 51 ranked podcasts and 9 Upstart/Up and Coming podcasts.

The ranking criteria is not an exact science. We took the following items into consideration:

• Number of Episodes with a focus on how long their podcasts have been in production (not just total number of episodes due to the different frequency of new episodes)
• Number of Listens and/or subscribers when available. We also compiled data from Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other publicly available information)
• Consistency of newly created episodes and content
• Overall ratings shown on podcast streaming sites (Number of Reviews and Reviewer comments were looked at as a cursory measure)
• Quality of subject matter, relevance and presentation of information
• Perceived quality of Guests
• Presence and quality of a dedicated website or other easily accessible web presence
